Bend, Oregon, disagrees with a local critic who has been improving public art installations with googly eyes.
Someone in Bend has been putting big googly eyes on public artworks that appear to need them. The City of Bend, in response, has spent nearly $1500 removing googly eyes from public art. Some try to label this critic as a vandal; others recognize their heroism and their eye.
