Today is Grey Day, the day when "people who create content for the Web" replace their work with plain grey pages to protest "rampant copyright infringement."

Look, I'd rather people not repurpose my material without asking me (or at least telling me) first, but I also think that "educational" efforts like this fail to ask any of the interesting, meaty questions about the role of copyright in the post-scarcity digital world, where everything is infinitely reproducible.
