A bad fall while installing a WiFi antenna

Rob Flickenger, an 802.11 pioneer and the author of "Building Community Wireless Networks," had a bad, two-story fall on Wednesday while installing a wireless antenna. He's had some serious surgery, and he's in hospital, but it looks like he's going to be all right. Jesus. It was almost exactly a year ago that I fell about one story in my place and Toronto and nearly snuffed myself. Rob can use all the goodwill he can get right about now — follow the link to get an address at O'Reilly you can send Get Well cards to. Feel better soon, Rob!
