A new Britsh poll concludes that one in ten Brits can't name a single world leader (including Tony Blair), but half can name five characters from the EastEnders soap. I wonder how Americans would fare? Instinctively, I find it unlikely that you could find any appreciable number of Americans who couldn't name the President, but I have a feeling that they'd do even more poorly on foreign leaders (except, perhaps, Saddam Hussein).
