Scientists at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Washington State have successfully encoded a message in bacterial DNA and retreived it later after several million reproductions. Best part: the "message" that was so mulifariously encoded was my favorite repititious doggerel, the lyrics to "It's a Small World."
