Ben Hammersley — gentleman journalist, hacker, RSS wonk and all-round world-travelling delight — has entered the Marathon des Sables, a six-day, 140 mile daytime run through the Sahara. Why? For charity. EFF, ChildNet and the Retired Greyhound Trust, to be specific. He's looking for sponsorship:
