Real "Walkman" settles with Sony

Sony is apparently kicking down several million Euros to Andreas Pavel, a German inventor who in 1977 patented and prototyped a wearable stereo called the "Stereobelt." Of course, the Stereobelt sounds a lot like the Sony Walkman, launched two years later. Flush with cash, Pavel now plans to go after Apple and other makers of, er, digital Stereobelts.
