Gary Baseman, one of my favorite Pop Surrealist painters, will have a show next month at Second Street Gallery in Charlottesville, VA. The exhibit, titled "Bedtime For Toby," runs from December 2 to January 28 with a reception and artist talk opening night. (Previous Baseman posts here, here, and here.) If you can't make the show, Baseman's monograph Dumb Luck is a wonderful introduction to his delightfully-depraved world.
