Globalization Since 1492 is an interdisciplinary university course
that is broadcast live and released as a video podcast under a
creative commons license. We are trying to create a forum for global
discussion using videoconferencing, live video streams and video
podcasts. Tonight's class features guests Denis Rancourt and Marc
Spooner from the University of Ottawa, the topics include reflecting
on the corporatization of universities, academic freedom, and activism
within the university.
