Fred from FreeCulture NYU sez, "In late April of this year, The New York Institute for the Humanities hosted a conference on fair use at NYU. Entitled The Comedies of Fair U$e, the conference brought together artists, photographers, musicians, directors, students and lawyers to discuss the current state of fair use and how it relates to to their work. Joy Garnett (of Joywar fame) and myself have been working to get all the content from the conference we can online. Most recently we've posted all 12 hours of audio from the panels in 192kpbs MP3 / OGG on Archive.org licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. Panelists include Lawrence Lessig, Art Spiegelman, Jonathan Lethem, Joy Garnett, Susan Mieselas, James Boyle, Siva Vaidhyanathan, Free Culture @ NYU, Geoff Dyer and many others."
