A student at a suburban Phoenix middle school spotted Batman race across the school grounds. After the student reported his sighting, his school and two others locked their doors while officers investigated. According to the student, Batman jumped a fence and vanished into the desert. The result – no Batman.
"It's just one of those interesting little stories that we looked into but we couldn't find anyone," (Scottsdale police Sergeant Mark) Clark said.
