The fine folks at The Durbin Compound wanted to see which of three common construction adhesives were the best bang for the buck. While it's not lab conditions, it's an interesting real-world demo of tensile strength. Two adhesives maxed out their weight rig.
- Liquid Nails HD 44.1 psi
- Gorilla Glue 84.6 psi
- Loctite Premium 3x 84.6 psi
Because Gorilla Glue is about twice the price, they declared Loctite the winner.
