The thrift store that exists because airlines lose your bags

Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, Alabama, is what happens when lost luggage doesn't get reunited with its owner. After airlines try and fail to return missing bags, the contents end up here instead of disappearing into some storage void. The store then sorts everything out and sells it like a massive, slightly surreal thrift shop.

Walking through looks wild because the photos of the shop make it feel like someone dumped the entire contents of an airplane into one place. You'll find everything from normal clothes and books to weird one-off items that make you stop and stare for a second. It's constantly restocked, so it never looks the same twice.

There's also this museum-like section where the stranger finds get displayed, which seems like the best part. It turns the whole idea of "lost stuff" into something oddly fascinating instead of just sad or forgotten. It's part thrift store, part curiosity cabinet, part accidental archive of what people carry with them when they fly.
