I don't suppose I could ask you to take a few minutes off doomscrolling to enjoy some good news today? It may just be because it's June, the month I legally get to tell the straights to shut up, but I'm somehow feeling pretty damn good right now.
Part of that, granted, is probably because of the June edition of Sam Bentley's Good News Newsletter, a monthly video series that shines a light on good things happening around the world. Because, believe it or not, good things are still happening around the world! In case you're unfamiliar, each entry consists entirely of a guy with a cool accent compiling positive news stories worldwide. The June edition covers coral reef preservation, revitalizing land that previously hosted coal mines, and weirdly enough, good news from Chernobyl of all places.
I hope that one day, in the idyllic future that may or may not await us, all hospitals will look that cool.
