From what I can see Otomo has once again created dazzling visuals — the lush Victorian interiors and the elegance of the mechanical designs (Steam Punk, anyone?) should leave everyone in awe. The film cost 2.4 billion Yen (US$20.2m) to produce, just a few dollars short of the 2.4 billion Yen that it cost to produce Spirited Away, the most expensive Anime feature ever.
