My pal and former colleague Ben Fritz at datelinehollywood.com says,
I don't know if you've noticed, but our story about Pat Robertson blaming Katrina on Ellen Degeneres hosting the Emmys has gotten totally out of control.
Check out Technorati for the over 100 blogs linking to DatelineHollywood.com in the last few days and you'll see virtually all of them are to that [parody] article with most of them believing it. And you should see some of the emails we've been getting (most mad at Robertson, some trying to "correct" our facts, and just a few getting the joke). It's the craziest thing on the Internet I've been involved in.
