The new RU Sirius Show on
the MondoGlobo Network includes an interview with John Leland, author
of Hip: The History. Here's a snippet from the show:
Leland: [Hip] should be a way to invent a hierarchy where people who
are on the bottom rung of one social ladder can place themselves at the
top of another one. And to consider the other social ladder superior
to the one that would put them at the bottom.
Also, Junket 415, a local SF events show, features a remix of segments from Allen
