A couple of years back David Wellington published a terrific zombie novel called Monster Island. He published it online, chapter-by-chapter, on a friend's site. I read it and loved it so much that I emailed an editor I know at Avalon books and told him he should publish it as a book. The editor loved it, too, and offered Wellington a contract. Now Monster Island is available on Amazon for pre-order.
The real reason I'm bringing this up, however, is because Wellington is publishing a new serial novel online, called 13 Bullets. He just told me about it, so I haven't had a chance to read it, but I'm downloading it to my Palm immediately.
