Jill Carroll's friends translate Jordan Times editor's release appeal

Boing Boing reader Jeff, a pal and former colleague of abducted American journalist Jill Carroll, says:

Natasha has translated a commentary [written in Arabic by Ayman Al-Safadi,] the former editor of The Jordan Times, who initially hired Jill and brought her to the Middle East.

The commentary is really excellent, speaking to the very heart of who Jill is as a person and a journalist. This translation will not be found anywhere else. It's an important message being sent into the Arab media to convey and perhaps convince those that need convincing that they indeed have the wrong girl.
