According to Ted Cruz, the Texas senator who goes south when things get tough, "If we want to stop crimes … we need to increase law enforcement." In other words, the shooter at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas would not have killed 19 children and 2 teachers if only the police department could have increased law enforcement — apparently the 376 officers who rushed to the scene just weren't enough.
