Grand Theft Auto 6 is, unfortunately, still six months away thanks to a seemingly endless chain of delays. We've been waiting for this game for thirteen long years, so six months should feel like a drop in the bucket, but not so.
If you're tired of the wait and you want to at least feel like you'll get to play GTA 6 sooner, though, you're in luck: thanks to a blunder on Best Buy's part, it seems that pre-orders for the game will open in the very near future. Leaked Best Buy emails sent out to affiliates through the online affiliate marketing site Impact point toward pre-orders opening May the 18th, or just tomorrow at time of writing.
The veracity of this email has supposedly been confirmed by various sources, but should be taken with an appropriately-sized grain of salt nonetheless. Still, taking into account all the moving parts when developing and promoting the biggest video game of all time, something had to slip through the cracks at some point.
