Ceramic sugar bowl shaped like an adorable creepy head

I adore this functional ceramic sugar bowl made by artist Jimmy D Lanza. The bowl is made to look like a little face and is both cute and creepy. There are even some dainty little ants painted on his face, as if they are trying to crawl inside and locate the sugar.

This fun video shows the sugar bowl head being used. The hat-shaped lid is removed from the head, exposing the sugar. The sugar is then spooned from the head and into a delicious looking cup of coffee. The whole ritual of lifting the hat, scooping the sugar, and replacing the lid turns your morning coffee into a tiny performance. I want one so badly!

The piece is called "Zuccheretto" — "little sugar" in Italian. Lanza sculpted it entirely by hand, and the details are wonderful: the slightly lopsided eyes, the tiny ants marching across the forehead, the hat that doubles as a lid. It's the kind of thing you'd want on your kitchen counter, not hidden in a cabinet. Unfortunately, this one already sold on his Etsy shop, but hopefully he'll make more.
