You may remember the Wikipedia gacha game we posted about a while back, which turns the Internet's biggest database into a collectible card game in an attempt to get gacha gamers to learn things.
A second Wikipedia game has now hit the Internet: Catfishing, which does not include any gambling but is much more engaging. The setup is deceptively simple. A random Wikipedia article is chosen, and you're given nothing but the list of categories it's sorted into on the site to try and work backwards and guess what it is.

Every day brings ten new articles to guess at, making for a ridiculous, brain-straining test of general knowledge that'll definitely give you your mental workout each morning. Don't feel bad if you get your first few wrong, because given the breadth of knowledge Wikipedia covers, you certainly will unless you luck out and pull Breaking Bad or something similarly ubiquitous as your first question.
I did manage to get three right in my first batch, though, which is a badge of honor I'll treasure forever. (The noble and radiant phoenix, the dastardly Hurricane Katrina, and the humble margarita, in case you were curious.) Give Catfishing a try; I promise you'll never feel more uneducated… but at least you can compare your score to others to feel less alone in your ignorance.
