Tom the Dancing Bug nominated for Reuben Award for editorial cartooning

Tom the Dancing Bug, published weekly here at Boing Boing by Ruben Bolling, was nominated for a National Cartoonists Society Award for Editorial Cartooning. Congrats, Ruben!

For when the membership votes: I want to reiterate my position that voters should not take into account any rumors about the two other worthy nominees. Even if disturbing and shocking, even disgusting, unproven allegations have no place in the voting process.

The NCS's Reuben Awards date to 1954 and past winners include Jim Morin and Ann Telnaes, who became the first woman to win both the Reuben award and the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 2017.

Also nominated this year alongside Bolling are Pedro Molina and Michael Ramirez.
