Boars, Gore, and Swords is hosted by stand-up comedians Ivan Hernandez and Red Scott. In each episode they break down HBO's Game of Thrones and George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. They also talk about movies, TV, science fiction, fantasy, and lots of other things. NSFW.
Ivan and Red begin the episode by discussing a recent behind-the-scenes Game of Thrones mini-doc from HBO and the questions it raises, before moving on to how to approach an introvert, Kristian Nairn, Detective Sheldon Cooper, Dead Like Me, Mikkelsen’s physicality, and cork boards with yarn.
And after finishing the discussion on A Storm of Swords and The Princess and The Queen, Ivan and Red devote an episode to catch up on Ravens from the Bannermen, and they discuss rules to live by, who they would have finish Game of Thrones if Railroad couldn’t, the effectiveness of Ivan’s persona, the best meat choice for burritos, and thoughts on the podcast 3 years in.
This week, Boars, Gore, and Swords takes a break from the ASOIAF book club to watch the first two episodes of series seven of international baking sensation The Great British Bake Off. Ivan and Red discuss the art of sitting on cakes, how amazing Mel and Sue’s innuendos are, and who they think will go all the way. For more GBBO […]
