A Yahoo! video is popping up on the blogosphere because it's the original opening for The Avengers, and it's setting a really, really, really different tone than what we saw in theaters. I will offer this slightly spoilery statement on the scene, which is a little bit more than a minute long: it's a bummer, you guys. Included on the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray, it also offers a little more insight into the relationship between Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). (via io9)
