Awesome news coming out of the New York comedy scene: the very popular (and excellent) web series, Broad City, starring Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, was just picked up by Comedy Central for a pilot. Oh no, it gets even better. It will be produced by Amy Poehler. In case you were wondering if one's wildest dreams ever came true in real life, let this be a hint that you may continue to wonder — in a hopeful direction. Congratulations, Abbi and Ilana!
