How to use an electric shock lighter to lose friends

Have you ever wanted to be a big jerk at a birthday party?  Of course you have!

Well, I'm here to tell you that it's the easiest thing in the world to do.

I just love practical jokes, and I love hazing new employees even more. This goofy, cheaply made toy is one of the best things ever made; I've had mine for quite some time and use it whenever there is an office birthday.

It's very simple to switch this beauty in for the matches (or another lighter) right before candles need to be lit. No-one will suspect you.

Amazon sells Gag Shock Lighters for about $5.

Here's the thing, though: be careful not to pull this off too frequently. At this point, I can't hand anything to my coworkers without them quivering and asking "This isn't going to shock me, is it?".

That said, it's a powerful feeling, even when the answer is "No."
