If you don't live in a state that allows recreational marijuana yet, perhaps this fabulous Hopalong Orbits Visualizer by Iacopo Sassarini will tide you over till then.
These orbits are generated iterating this simple algorithm:
(x, y) -> (y - sign(x)*sqrt(abs(b*x - c)), a -x )
where a, b, c are random parameters. This is known as the 'Hopalong Attractor'.
Note: you might get a touch of vertigo on a fullscreen while moving your mouse around.
FYI, it might amp up your HPPD, too!
If that was fun for you, this Android live wallpaper might also be to your liking.

When home from the vacation, the group has a celebratory smoke, leading to Paul’s coining of the […]

It’s impossible for anyone to truly escape the effects our COVID-19 lifestyle changes have made, but if you’re a web developer, there’s a decent chance your work life might be virtually unchanged. CDC officials warn that once a resurgence of the virus hits this winter, it could prove even more disastrous for the U.S. healthcare system than the opening salvo. That would follow the pattern suffered […]
