These symmetrical breakfasts are balanced in more ways than one

Monday: Spanakopita 🇬🇷although mine is less traditional as I used puff and not filo 🤷🏻‍♂️ but filled with spinach, some leftover kale, feta, onion and egg 🌈 with cucumber and tomato with a sprinkle of sesame and drizzle of Arganic oil @arganicldn 💪🏼 Now it's time to dance round the table to Zorba 🕺🏻🕺🏻(or maybe Nana Mouskouri) ————————————— This time next week we'll be ✈️ jetting off to Florence for a few days!! Monday: Kiribath, a Sri Lankan coconut milk rice #කිරිබත් with delicious and super cute mini mangoes, honey and edible flowers and served delectably on banana leaves #🇱🇰 ————————————– Kiribath is traditionally eaten on the first of the month (and other special occasions) as it marks a new beginning and symbolises good luck in Sri Lankan culture. It's absolutely delicious with something sweet as well as something spicy! #symmetrybreakfast

Wednesday: Coconut milk oats sweetened with maple, topped with an array of fruits 🥝🍇🍓🍒🍈 yellow watermelon 💛, baby mango, blueberries, waxberry 杨梅, cherries, kiwi and all served up in a hollowed out honey melon ————————————— If you're wondering what's happening with all the leftover melon I scooped out, I like a purée it with any other leftover fruit and make ice cubes for cocktails or what I'm going to make right now, some summery sorbet 🍧🍧🍧#symmetrybreakfast
