2017 Hugo nominees announced

The 2017 Hugo nominees were announced yesterday; attendees at this year's World Science Fiction Convention in San Jose, California will choose from among them to pick this year's Hugo Award winners.

The nominees include many works that were reviewed here this year; in the best novel category, you can read my reviews of John Scalzi's "Collapsing Empire", Mur Lafferty's "Six Wakes", and Kim Stanley Robinson's "New York 2140"; Seanan McGuire's Down Among the Sticks and Bones got a nomination for Best Novella; Zoe Quinn's "Crash Override" is one of the noms for Best Related Book; and Saga: Volume 7 is up in the Best Graphic Novel category.

Enormous congrats to the nominees!
