An Alabama man was trapped in a lift 25 feet off the ground on Saturday while the base was engulfed in fire. He was hesitant to jump into a makeshift safety net that the fire department had created with a tent, but, as thick black smoke began to engulf him, and after checking out his options (fire, tent, fire, tent), he finally takes a leap to a safe landing.
