This giant glob of worms looks like a pulsating sewer monster

Unknown Lifeform in North Carolina Sewer! Is a video that reveals what a tangle of tubifex worms inside a sewer looks like.

Tubifex worms are related to the earthworms you can find in your yard. They are commonly found near bodies of water, sewers, and other waterways. They eat detritus and are known as sludge worms or sewage worms.

When a large number of these worms become intertwined, they look like one giant fleshy mass. When one of the worms decides to wiggle around, they all begin moving, causing the blob to look like it's writhing around and pulsating.

Next time I go frolicking around inside of my local sewer, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for one of these delightful worm-blobs.
