Watch dogs enjoying being at baseball games

Baseball season will be getting underway soon, with Spring Training just around the corner. As I've mentioned before, I really don't care about sports at all (unless it's Discofoot, naturally!), but the minute sportsball includes animals, I'm instantly invested! Each season, Major League Baseball teams sponsor dog-friendly games where you can bring your pooch to the field with you. These special days go by a variety of adorable names, including Bark at the Park, Pup Nights, Pooches in the Ballpark, Dog Days of Summer, Pups in the Park, and more.

In the spirit of 'animals make everything better,' here's almost an hour of doggos enjoying Major League Baseball games. And no, they're not actually watching the games—because that would be boring (sorry, sports fans!)—they're doing all of the other things that doggos (and humans!) love, like chowing down on hotdogs, throwing balls, getting lots of snuggles and pets, dancing, barking, strutting around in tutus, and eating peanut butter. Enjoy watching all of the fun these doggos of all breeds, shapes, and sizes—including Chihuahuas, Golden Retrievers, Italian Greyhounds, Huskies, Dachshunds, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Saint Bernards, and more—are having!

The AKC explains that bringing your doggo to a baseball game is not only fun, it also helps "provide your dog with positive socialization and give him an opportunity to test out their obedience training and behavioral skills."

If you want to go to a dog-friendly game, check out this list of the Major League Baseball teams that will be catering to canines during the 2025 season—the teams include the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, and more.
