Craig Yoe — Eisner Award winner, former creative director of Jim Henson's Muppets — has a new kids' graphic novel called Captain LOL and Rubber Chicken: Har Har. It's a 96-page paperback about a superhero whose only power is making people laugh and his sidekick, an actual rubber chicken. Dad jokes and odd factoids are scattered across every spread.
It's got a die-cut hole that runs through the cover and every interior page. Each page has a different joke built around the hole. One parent on Amazon said they've been reading a couple pages out loud every morning while the kids put their shoes on, "and I'll keep doing it until we run out, or until one of them wises up and hides the book from me."
