Lemur makes an alarming sound when communicating

The Indri is the largest living lemur and one of the most distinctive primates in Madagascar. It lives only in the eastern rainforests of the island and is known for its striking black-and-white fur pattern and its nearly tailless body. It makes an alarming sound when communicating with others.

I tried watching this video of an Indri making its loud, piercing sound, but my computer was connected to my bluetooth headphones. The sound is so high pitched that I heard a faint squeaking sound coming from the other room. I was confused, and thought a small animal had entered my home. When I walked in, I realized it was Indri's call in the video, coming through my headphones, and I had a good chuckle.

"The Indri is a remarkable species, native to Madagascar. Characterized by its striking appearance and distinctive vocalizations. These animals are known to form long-term monogamous pairs and are recognized by their haunting, whale-like calls, audible from a distance of up to 2 miles (3 km)."
