In 1960, Sir Edmund Hillary and Wild Kingdom's Marlin Perkins set off on a World Book-sponsored expedition in search of the Yeti. The pair found a purported Yeti scalp at a Buddhist Monastery in Nepal and brought it back to the US for analysis.
