On Monday, Ana Rivera, 44, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, drover her suspended 13-year-old daughter to school so she could fight a classmate. Rivera, her daughter, the other girl, and that girl's mother, Maribel Santiago, 34, all got into a brawl and were subsequently arrested. From the Associated Press:
Santiago, reached at home Wednesday, said she went to the school to pick up her daughter because of recent threats. She said she apologized to the school's principal and was only trying to protect her daughter. Her daughter was suspended from school for 10 days after the fight.Link
