Alice of the Wonderland blog is systematically cataloguing the best of nerdy Christmas tree ornaments available online, ranging from crocheted Alien vs Predator heads to World of Warcraft Khorium Ore ornaments, to Star Wars and Super Mario figs to tiny sculpted "Cthulumas" ornaments to recycled mouses. Got a geeky ornament fave of your own? Add it to the comments! Part 0 Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

I made a severed head of John the Baptist on a silver platter (for Salome) ornament. Don’t ask why.

Well I’ll put in a plug for nifnaks, previously mentioned on BB, Nifer makes a wonderful noodly FSM ornament (and tree topper). Her felted wool Cthulu is superior to the one above, far more menacing imo.
