I wish I had that stare at the poker table.

Some people assume that cats don’t think, but clearly that cat is deep in thought of some kind. I wish we could talk to cats. I wonder what they would say.

A funny caturday cat was made by Taylor Shute on Scott Feschuk’s column “Let me say this to all Canadians: Hello mom”. Poor stunned kitty. Hopefully they don’t sue me for including it here. It is too whacky and downright awesome not to promote. Maclean’s and the NDP would be awesome if they turned it into a promotion to raise funds for cancer research like Justin Trudeau and Patrick Brazeau did. Caturday cats seem to have that inherent ability to become extremely popular. Ya never know.

Through the travail of the ages
Midst the pomp and toil of war
Have I fought and strove and perished
    Countless times upon this star.

I have sinned and I have suffered
Played the hero and the knave
Fought for belly, shame or country
And for each have found a grave.

So as through a glass and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many cats — but always me.

Serious cat pictures, I like.  Here’s the princess of my avatar, all Rembrandt-like.  Just a bit of time exposure at night, she’s a patient model.
