Anthony Santell carved this magnificent "transformation mask." Santell was inspired by ritual transformation masks made by the indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast and Alaska. Those masks are actually wearable and, according to Wikipedia, are operated by "pulling a string to reveal an inner, human face carved in wood. "Transformation Mask" opened and closed (via Neatorama)
