How much is your ISP ripping you off? New Netflix speed test tool can answer that.

Streaming video service Netflix today launched Fast.com, which shows you your internet connections in megabits per second. You can use it on your mobile or over your home broadband connection, and it doesn't require a Netflix account.

There are other such sites, like speedtest.net, but the point here seems to be to point out how common it is for ISPs to "throttle" connections to Netflix. And at least at launch, Fast.com isn't bloated with ads and flash and bullshit. It is, as the name suggests, fast.

Fast.com also includes a quick link to speedtest.net for comparison. Cool.

I hope the big ISPs have beefed up their incoming customer complaint call centers. They're about to get a whole lot of WTF.
