Tiffany Shlain's Connected, opening this weekend

My friend Tiffany Shlain's new documentary feature film, Connected, opens in select theaters starting this Friday. The film is a lovely and moving meditation on technologies of connection as told through a transformative year in Tiffany's own life in which she she lost her father, remarkable author and true Renaissance man Leonard Shlain, to a brain tumor, and gained a daughter. I've seen the film and it's beautiful, provocative, and deeply personal. It opens in the San Francisco Bay Area this weekend with premieres in Portland, Monterey, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York City, Denver and elsewhere over the coming weeks.
