Oh, cops.

California: Marshal with a rifle attacks woman recording an arrest, smashing her phone.

Cook County, IL: Cops strip a dead girl naked and photograph her at the scene of the car-wreck that took her life. Then they lie about it. Then they come clean, but insist that it's standard operating procedure.

New Jersey: Cops allow their dog to maul a prone subject, then steal an onlooker's cell phone used to record the torture. The victim died.

Washington DC: Supreme Court tells cops that a traffic stop ends after achieving its "purpose," not when the cop who pulled you over says it does.

So, at least there's some good news.
