Atheist Shoes (previously), the stylish German shoes whose souls soles bear atheist messages ("Ich Bin Atheist") are getting ready to relaunch with a tweaked new design called DAS SNEAKER, which sports more cushioning and thinner soles for greater flexibility, as well as a retro turn-up toe.
They're accepting pre-orders now for delivery by April. I just ordered a new pair of my beloved red nubucks to wear on my next book-tour, where comfy shoes are mandatory (my last pair were so comfortable I wore 'em to death).
The sole is a work in progress, but will be a fetching evolution of our original ICH BIN ATHEIST design.
And the rest of the sneaker is as sumptuous as our existing shoe: calfskin lining, nubuck or napa upper, the exact same fit, and our "secret sauce"… the bauhaus design features that facilitate greater comfort.
