I'm not really interested in catching mice, but I like learning how different kinds of no kill mousetraps work. This simple but ingenious trap attaches to a 2-liter soda bottle. The mouse crawls through an opening and has to push a plastic ball up to get into the bottle. One it gets past the ball, the ball drops and blocks the exit path, trapping the mouse inside. Shawn Woods tested one out and learned that it works as advertised.
