Vladimir Putin's spokesman says he is hospitalized with the coronavirus.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Interfax news agency on Tuesday, "Yes, I've gotten sick. I'm being treated."

Russian state media is reporting that Russian president Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, has been hospitalized with Covid-19.

The novel coronavirus is hitting Russia's government hard.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been sidelined with the infection for two weeks.
