Skateboarding downhill at not quite 70 MPH

Josh Neuman embarks on a raw run down a hill road, followed by a camera a la game. The effect is exhilarating, and the rider's skill and sangfroid are amazing, but high-quality Swiss roads and custom skateboards are surely the key ingredients of this footage.

Based on an assumed 6-7 feet per road line I can't clock him going faster than 40 MPH. Even so: one mistake, one loose stone, and death's embrace rushes up with the blacktop. At least he's wearing his protective t-shirt!

UPDATE: speed/distance calculations in the comments! (The average speed turns out to be about 35 MPH)
