Drone video shows miserable conditions after a homeless encampment is flooded in Santa Cruz, CA

Environmental activist Alekz Londos captured drone footage Monday of a homeless encampment near Santa Cruz, California hit by heavy rains. Londos had distributed "trash bag rain jackets" before the storm, telling YouTube's Storyful that "the city or county did not do enough to warn the people in this area or help them evacuate prior to the storm."

This drenched community, along the San Lorenzo River, is facing more heavy rain today.
