Former Proud Boy leader and FBI informant Henry "Enrique" Tarrio charged with seditious conspiracy

Henry Tarrio, the Proud Boy leader and sometime FBI informant not even six months out of jail, was today charged with seditious conspiracy over his role in the 2020 sacking of the U.S. Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump.

The indictment alleges that the Proud Boys conspired to forcibly oppose the lawful transfer of presidential power. Tarrio and the others — Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs, Zachary Rehl and Dominic Pezzola — were previously charged with different conspiracy counts.
